Terms of Use
Last updated: 4 October 2026
The short version
- TripBell helps you wake up before your stop. It cannot promise to, because it depends on GPS, your phone and iOS.
- That is why every trip also has a backup alarm by the clock. Set it.
- If you got TripBell from the App Store, Apple's standard licence applies together with these terms.
1. Who we are
TripBell is provided by Emirhan Serin, trading as Emirhan Serin APP-LOYAL SOLUTIONS, a sole proprietorship registered in Poland (NIP 9462760106), based in Warsaw, Poland. Contact: support@tripbell.app.
2. The licence
If you downloaded TripBell from the App Store, your use of it is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA") together with these terms. These terms add to the Apple EULA and do not replace it. If anything in these terms conflicts with a term that Apple requires for apps distributed through the App Store, Apple's term applies.
3. What you need
An iPhone running iOS 26 or later. TripBell works best with location access allowed "While Using the App" and with its alarms allowed. It needs no account and no internet connection to wake you, although searching for a place does need one.
4. What TripBell can and cannot do
TripBell rings when your phone's reported position comes within the distance you chose, or at the backup time you set, whichever happens first. How well that works depends on things outside our control, including:
- GPS and mobile signal, which can drop in tunnels, underground and in remote areas;
- your phone's battery, Low Power Mode, and whether it stays switched on;
- the permissions you grant, and iOS closing apps in the background, or you closing TripBell from the app switcher;
- the accuracy of the place you picked, and, for "minutes before", how fast your vehicle really travels. Minutes are an estimate.
So TripBell may ring earlier or later than you expect, or not at all. The backup alarm by the clock exists for exactly these cases, and we strongly recommend setting it on every trip. Do not rely on TripBell as your only safeguard when missing a stop could put you at risk or cause you a significant loss.
TripBell is made for passengers. Do not set it up or look at it while driving.
5. Free plan and Premium
The free plan includes a limited number of trips each month; a trip only counts once its alarm has rung. Premium removes that limit. The alarm itself works the same way on both.
Premium is sold by Apple through the App Store. The options, their prices, and any free trial are shown there before you buy. A subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Apple handles billing, cancellations and refunds through the App Store, subject to Apple's policies and to any mandatory consumer rights you have under applicable law.
6. Liability
We build and test TripBell carefully, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will wake you on every trip, or that it will be free of errors.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for a missed stop or its consequences, such as extra travel costs, missed connections or lost time, nor for indirect or consequential losses.
This section does not limit or exclude our liability for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, or any right you have as a consumer under mandatory law, including your statutory rights relating to digital content and digital services.
7. Privacy
How TripBell handles personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, not in these terms.
8. Changes
We may update TripBell and these terms, for example when we add a feature or the law changes. We will publish the new terms on this page with a new date. If a change affects you significantly, we will tell you in the app before it applies.
Where applicable law requires us to give you notice of a change, or gives you the right to reject a change or to end this agreement, we will give that notice and respect that right.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not take away the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you habitually live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country.
